I went with the Alpine Club of Canada (http://www.accmontreal.ca/) for a short day hike this past Saturday up Bald Peak in the Adirondacks. This was a nice 4 hour trip, even with the rain and all, and is the longest hike I've done since coming back from South America last month.In other news, Ian Bergeron of Escalade Quebec (http://www.escaladequebec.com) has arrived in Islamabad, Pakistan yesterday. They will be making their trek to K2's base camp very shortly. I should have more news to post soon as I'm taking over the moderating and posting on his website until his return.
